Mardi Gras Homemade Bead Recipes
Mardi Gras means fun time and Mardi Gras is incomplete without Mardi Gras Beads. It is the time when everyone can express themselves and have a chance to be together and have the most from this event. Mardi Gras is an event with a lot of different interesting expressions. No Mardi Gras party can be complete without the Mardi Gras Beads. The tradition of throwing Mardi Gras Beads first started in the year 1920. In the beginning, there were Glass Mardi Gras Beads but then later the beads changed to Plastic Mardi Gras Beads and then they were given the appearance of jewels to make it look more dazzling.
There are people who also make Mardi Gras Beads on their own with the help of different recipes. The recipe that I am going to share with you is the oven flour clay recipe. With this recipe you can make your own Mardi Gras Beads. In this, you have to have two cups of flour, one cup of salt, two tablespoons of vegetable oil and three fourth to one cup of water. Mix the flour and salt and then add oil and then you need to slowly add the water to the point where you get the clay consistency. Then you can start making the beads with the clay of different sizes and then bake in the oven to 250 degrees for one hour. Do not make big shapes or else they will crack. Then you can paint it and write things on it as you would like.
When you are arranging a Mardi Gras Party, you must make sure that your home is well decorated with Mardi Gras theme and get a lot of Mardi Gras Beads. You can decorate your home with Mardi Gras Beads by hanging them at different places. You can also give Mardi Gras Beads to your guests on which you can write their names as a souvenir. The Mardi Gras Beads come in different sizes, colors and shapes. You can also get beads that are made on the machines as well as the hand strung beads. Since Mardi Gras is a special event, you need to plan this event from a lot of angles in terms of decoration, food, arranging games etc. If you feel that you need to make this event a special one, then you must get a professional to help you out with that, so that this event becomes a memorable one.
