Mardi Gras Parades Are The Bomb!
Mardi Gras is incomplete without the Mardi Gras Parades. In US there are millions of people who fly over to New Orleans to be a part of the big celebration. This is a mega event where millions of people participate in Mardi Gras. People express themselves in so many ways with the different Mardi Gras Costumes such as bunny costumes, clowns, masked lions etc. There are a lot of other interesting costumes that people wear for Mardi Gras Parades.
The true spirit of Mardi Gras is in Mardi Gras Parades, which people are really looking forward to attend. People from all over the US come down to New Orleans to get the best spot on the streets to see the floats pass by. The floats are well decorated and have a queen riding the float who is throwing the beads towards the people who are watching the float, this all is just so exciting. There are other floats that the celebrities are riding and throwing beads towards the crowds, which the people catch and keep as souvenirs.
Another very interesting part of Mardi Gras Parades is the marching bands that take the streets and play the favorite tunes, which the spectators really enjoy. The marching bands just stir liveliness in people by playing the jazz tunes and after this, the floats and thousands of paraders take over. There are also clubs that arrange the festivities of Mardi Gras and are known as the Krewe. The oldest Krewe is known as the Krewe of Conus, which was founded in 1857. All in all Mardi Gras Parades are a hit.
